Check your water heater and adjust your water heater temperature, turning it down to make sure it’s not producing scalding hot water that could quickly burn a young child. You can also cover faucets with burn-prevention devices.
Install child-proof latch on bathroom and kitchen doors
Invest in a toilet cover lock - don’t want to flush away small toys that can cause plumbing problems.
Place anti-slip mats in your shower or bathtub
Always drain tub and sink water when not in use.
Install Drain Covers because small openings can entice a child’s natural curiosity. Children could put small objects down the drain.
Know where the water valve is to shut off in case of an emergency such as an overflowing toilet.
